Changes and Refinements made to the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 2022 version of the Grand Cherokee marks the beginning of the fifth generation of the vehicle. The Grand Cherokee receives a significant facelift with sharper lines and a more premium outlook. Other than that, these are some of the refinements:
- New Uconnect 5 interface with a segment-first front passenger screen, Active Driving Assist, and new high-definition rear-seat entertainment system.
- Front passenger screen comes with Amazon Fire TV, new independent front and rear suspension, and exclusive Quadra-Lift™ air suspension with electronic semi-active damping.
- New sway-bar disconnect that improves articulation and traction over rocks and uneven terrain.
- New 4xe (PHEV) powertrain that will deliver a 25-mile all-electric range, 57 MPG equivalent (MPGe), and a combined driving range of more than 440 miles.
- 144.6 cubic feet of total interior passenger volume which is 4.1 cubic feet more than the previous generation, and 3.7.7 cubic feet of cargo space which is 1.4 cubic feet more than the previous generation.
- More safety: 110 advanced safety and security features offered, including 360-degree surround view camera with night vision and Active Driving Assist with hands-on automated driving.
