What is Chrysler’s AEB System?

The Pacifica’s AEB system has been awarded a “Superior” rating. The AEB system is made up of a combination of camera technology and radar sensors that come together to offer a wider field of view compared to the previous version. This system helps the car in identifying possible frontal collisions. In the case of a possible collision, visual and audible alerts are generated to alert the driver so as to take necessary action. If the driver fails to act in time, the system may go on to activate the vehicle’s brakes to help avoid an impact or lessen its severity.
