Jeep Reinvents the Windshield Wiper for the Wrangler and Gladiator; Watch How It Works

How Do Jeep’s New High-Performance Windshield Wiper Blades Work?

Windshield wipers are an integral feature of any vehicle. Although these underrated accessories go unnoticed most of the time, they go a long way in ensuring your safety, especially when driving in the rain or dusty or windy conditions. Jeep has found a new way to make the windshield wiper much more efficient and effective at clearing off your windshield. Keep reading this blog from Gene’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Fairbanks, AK, to learn more about Jeep’s new high-performance windshield wiper and see how it works.

New High-Performance Windshield Wiper Blades From Jeep

Jeep has introduced a set of brand-new high-performance wiper blades for the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator SUVs. These new windshield wiper blades from Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) promise to offer more efficient cleaning using less washer fluid.

The new windshield wiper blades come with 12 laser-cut holes along each blade that feeds washer fluid from a bladder system. Unlike traditional windshield wiper blades that use spray nozzles to spray the washer fluid, Jeep’s innovative new wiper blades create multiple wet jets that release washer fluid along the length of the blade as it wipes. This way, the washer fluid floods a larger area of the dirty windshield glass as the blade travels along its arc and clears dirt and debris on the first stroke.

Moreover, Jeep says these new wiper blades also help mitigate the problem of “blind seconds” while driving by quickly restoring visibility. This feature can prove to be beneficial in preventing accidents and collisions.
